Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently declared as treasure and donated to Liverpool museum by the landowner.
\nA complete silver annular brooch dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1250-1350).<\/p>\n

The brooch has a circular frame and circular cross section. It has a narrowed constriction for the placement of a pin that is now missing. One half of the frame is decorated with a twisted rope-like design that is present on the face and reverse. The other half is plain and undecorated.<\/p>\n

Dimensions<\/strong>: Diameter 33mm; thickness 3.2mm; weight 7.43g<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
