Whorls are common finds but the decorated ones less so. lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Whorls were used as weights on the end of a stick which was spun and used to twist thread. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">These bottom right whorl is particularly well decorated with different symbols including flowers, heart and a W. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><a
