Finds From Wirral – Arrowhead<\/h3>\n

\"Arrowhead\"<\/p>\n

This is an iron tanged arrowhead dated AD800-100. The point on the left has lost some of its size due to corrosion.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike copper alloy finds iron is very subject to corrosion. This arrowhead has been treated and preserved by experts. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We have two more recovered arrowheads that are awaiting to go live on the PAS database. They have been preserved by the experts who have indicated that they are Early Medieval and we will post the links once they are live.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
