His reign was unusual as it was split into two separate periods during mthe Wars of the Roses between the House of Lancaster and the House of York.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>As such Edward reigned from 4th March 1461 to 3 October 1470 and then again from 11th April 1471 until he died in 1483. It was his sons who were the infamous &#8220;Princes in the Tower&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>This coin dates from the first reign and was minted in London.
